Welcometo GlassClass!


When you enroll in GlassClass, you have an enormous amount of freedom to decide which direction to take.

I teach traditional copper foil & lead techniques, as well as work in brass, zinc, tiffany style lampshades, glass fusing, slumping and lampwork (making beads on a torch).


GlassClass is run on a continuous basis. You do not have to take your classes consecutively. You are free to switch days as your schedule permits.


GlassClass Cost:

You can become a member of the studio for a fee of $150. This includes six, two-hour classes. You pay for materials. Use of all studio tools is included. After your initial six classes, you pay $10 per two-hour class to continue.


There are no open studio times for non-members.

New! BUD VASE Class


Create two beautiful "hang on the wall" bud vases. Small vases will hold water and show off your favorite spring buds! Must pay in advance to reserve this special class. No experience required.



Create one beautiful bowl in which you can rinse and serve spring & summer berries. Intricate designs can be achieved in this beautiful little bowl. Several shapes available. Bowls average 8" in diameter. No experience required.


$70 for a pass to any of the following classes!

Use this unique purchase, PERFECT as a gift - to come to any of the two hour classes that are priced at $70. Purchaser or recipient can book their choice of the following classes:

2-hour fusing class

Mini-jewelery class

The "Mini-Jewelry Workshop"

$70 for jewelry intensive class includes all materials

In this fun workshop, students will work exclusively with dichroic glass to create two pair of hanging earrings, or studs, and two beautiful pendants cut from pre-made jewelry bars. All findings, gift bags, and wire necklaces are included! A fabulous gift-making opportunity!


Items can be mailed for $10 (including gluing of findings) for $10.

Fused Glass Mezuzah Workshop

$45 includes all materials

Come to the studio and create three beautiful glass Mezuzahs (scrolls not included) with amazing fusing glass and dichroic accents. Make reservations for this class by phoning Christal directly at 919-490-6631. Fusd glass Mezuzahs sell online from $29-$75 each (also without scrolls).


This class is a lot of fun and fine to do with your kids aged 9+. Beautiful handmade gifts! Your Mezuzahs will be ready for pickup, or can be mailed USPS for an additional $8.

2-hr Fused Glass Workshop

$70 for 2 hour fusing class for beginners and advanced students.

Come to the studio and complete a lovely fused dish, or set.


Choices include: 7" x 7" candy dish, or set of four 3.25" square condiment dishes, fabulous new channel dish 4 "x 13" or several other square and rectangular options.


Other choices may be made available during the class. $60 includes ALL materials. Requires a return visit to pick up fired piece(s), or a mailing option is available for $12 (USPS Priority Mail only). Pieces will be ready two days following the workshop.


KIra Style Fusing Workshop

$70 for two hour workshop

This is a fabulous class for beginner or advanced glass fusers. You will be working with clears and frit to create a stunning candy dish, wavy or rectangular piece. Other options may be available. The Kira Style casts amazing patterns and light under and around the finished piece. Size of finished pieces will vary from 7" x 7" to 6" x 8". Particpants will learn how to cut glass as they create their piece, or they can work from pre-cut pieces.
